Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Charge battery: Connect charger to AC power, insert battery, charge until indicator turns off.
  2. Insert memory card: Open battery/card compartment, insert SD card with label facing LCD.
  3. Attach wrist strap: Thread through eyelet for secure handling.
  4. Power on camera: Slide power switch to ON position.

WARNING! Ensure all seals are clean and properly closed before underwater use. Do not open compartments underwater.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Use four-way controller to set current date and time.

WARNING! Do not use flash underwater. Ensure waterproof seals are intact before submerging.

Playback Features

Review and manage your photos and videos.

  1. Single image view: Press PLAYBACK button to view captured images.
  2. Thumbnail view: Press zoom lever toward W to view multiple images.
  3. Slide show: Automatically displays images with selectable intervals.
  4. Image protection: Prevent accidental deletion of important photos.
  5. Cropping: Create smaller versions of your images.
