Film Loading

Open camera back and insert 35mm film cartridge.

  1. Open back cover: Slide latch and lift cover.
  2. Insert film: Place cartridge in film chamber, pull film leader to red mark.
  3. Close back: Ensure film is properly engaged with sprockets.
  4. Auto advance: Camera automatically advances to frame 1.

WARNING! Do not open back cover while film is loaded to avoid exposure. Handle film in subdued light.

Basic Operation

Power on camera; check battery and film status on LCD.

  1. Compose shot: Look through viewfinder, frame your subject.
  2. Half-press shutter: Camera sets focus and exposure automatically.
  3. Full press: Take picture; film automatically advances to next frame.
  4. Film rewind: Automatically rewinds when film reaches end.
  5. Self-timer: Press self-timer button; red LED blinks during countdown.

CAUTION! Keep fingers away from lens and flash window. Avoid extreme temperatures.

  1. Set Date: Use date buttons to set year, month, day.
  2. Select Format: Choose between Y-M-D or M-D-Y format.
  3. Enable/Disable: Turn date imprint on or off as needed.
  4. Battery Backup: Built-in capacitor maintains date for short periods.

WARNING! Date imprint is permanent on film. Verify setting before shooting important photos.

Battery Information

Uses two AA batteries. Alkaline recommended for best performance.

Battery Installation: Open battery compartment, insert batteries observing polarity.

Battery Life: Approximately 10 rolls of 24-exposure film with 50% flash usage.

Low Battery Warning: LCD shows battery symbol when power is low.
