Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Insert battery: Open battery compartment, insert NP-45A battery with correct polarity.
  2. Insert memory card: Open card slot cover, insert SD/SDHC card.
  3. Charge battery: Connect AC power adapter to camera and wall outlet.
  4. Attach wrist strap: Thread through eyelet for secure handling.

WARNING! Use only Fujifilm NP-45A battery and approved accessories. Do not force memory card insertion.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.
