Camera Setup

Prepare camera for first use.

Charge battery: Connect charger to power outlet, insert battery, charge until indicator turns off (approx. 2 hours).
Insert battery and memory card: Open battery compartment, insert battery and SD/SDHC card.
Set date and time: Turn camera on, follow on-screen prompts to set date/time.
Attach wrist strap: Thread through eyelet for secure handling.

WARNING! Use only Fujifilm NP-45A battery and BC-45C charger. Keep battery away from fire and water.

Basic Shooting

Taking photos with your FinePix JX310.

Turn camera on: Press POWER button.
Select shooting mode: Turn mode dial to desired setting.
Compose shot: Use LCD monitor to frame your subject.
Focus: Half-press shutter button until green focus frame appears.
Take photo: Fully press shutter button.
Review image: Photo displays briefly on LCD after capture.

Playback and Editing
