Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Insert battery: Open battery compartment, insert NP-45A battery with correct polarity.
  2. Insert memory card: Open card slot cover, insert SD/SDHC card.
  3. Charge battery: Connect AC power adapter to camera and wall outlet.
  4. Attach wrist strap: Thread through eyelet for secure handling.

WARNING! Use only Fujifilm NP-45A battery and approved accessories. Do not force battery insertion.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Use navigation buttons to set current date and time.
  2. Select language: Choose preferred language from menu (default: ENGLISH).
  3. Format memory card: In setup menu, format card for first use.

Connecting Devices

Computer: USB cable for image transfer. TV: AV cable for playback.

  1. Turn off camera before connecting cables.
  2. Connect USB cable to computer for image transfer.
  3. Connect AV cable to TV for slideshow viewing.
  4. Select appropriate mode (PC or TV) when prompted.

Tip: Use included cables only; third-party cables may not function properly.

Shooting Modes

Supports various shooting modes for different scenarios.

  1. Auto mode: Camera automatically selects optimal settings.
  2. Manual mode: Adjust exposure compensation, white balance manually.

WARNING! Do not point camera directly at sun; may damage image sensor.

Playback Features

Review and manage captured images and videos.

  1. View images: Press PLAYBACK button to review photos.
