Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Insert battery: Open compartment, insert NP-W126S battery with correct orientation.
  2. Insert memory card: Open card slot cover, insert SD card with label facing outward.
  3. Attach lens: Remove body and lens caps, align marks, rotate clockwise until click.
  4. Charge battery: Use provided charger; full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

WARNING! Do not force lens attachment; handle with care to avoid damage.

First-Time Configuration

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Use control dial to navigate, SET button to confirm.
  2. Choose language: Select from available options (default: ENGLISH).
  3. Format memory card: In SETUP menu, format card for first use.
  4. Configure image quality: Set resolution and file format (JPEG/RAW).
  5. Adjust basic settings: Set beep sounds, screen brightness, auto power off.

CAUTION! Always format memory card in camera, not computer.

Image Playback & Transfer

  1. Playback: Press playback button to view images.

  3. Delete: Press trash button to remove unwanted images.
  4. Protect: Mark important images to prevent deletion.
  5. Transfer to computer: Connect via USB-C or remove SD card.

WARNING! Do not remove memory card during data transfer.
