Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Insert battery: Open battery compartment, insert NP-45A battery with correct orientation.
  2. Insert memory card: Open card slot cover, insert SD card with label facing outward.
  3. Charge battery: Connect AC power adapter to camera and wall outlet.
  4. Attach wrist strap: Thread through eyelet and secure.

WARNING! Ensure all seals are clean and properly closed before submerging in water. Do not open compartments underwater.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Use directional buttons to enter current date and time.
  2. Select language: Choose preferred language from menu options.
  3. Format memory card: In setup menu, format card for first use.
  4. Adjust basic settings: Set image quality, review time, and beep sounds.
