Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Insert battery: Open battery compartment, insert NP-45A lithium-ion battery.
  2. Insert memory card: Use SD/SDHC memory card in card slot.
  3. Charge battery: Connect charger to camera or use external charger.
  4. Attach wrist strap: For secure handling during use.

WARNING! Ensure all seals are clean and properly closed before underwater use. Do not open compartments underwater.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.
