Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Mount in appropriate location.

  1. Panel Mounting: Cut appropriate panel cutout (92x92mm), insert controller from front.
  2. Wiring Connections: Connect power supply, sensor input, and control outputs to terminal blocks.
  3. Sensor Connection: Connect thermocouple or RTD to input terminals observing polarity.
  4. Output Connection: Connect relay/SSR to output terminals for heater control.
  5. Apply power and verify basic operation.

WARNING! Ensure proper grounding and follow electrical safety standards. Disconnect power before wiring.

First-Time Setup

Power on controller; configure basic parameters.

  1. Set Control Mode: Access basic setting mode to configure control type (PID/ON-OFF).
  2. Configure Input Type: Set appropriate sensor type (K-type thermocouple, Pt100, etc.).
  3. Set Temperature Range: Configure upper and lower temperature limits.
  4. Enable Auto-tuning: Activate AT function for optimal PID parameters.
  5. Set Alarm Values: Configure alarm setpoints and hysteresis.

CAUTION! Verify sensor type setting matches actual sensor to prevent measurement errors.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access parameters via front panel keys. Normal display shows PV and SV.

Front Keys: SET (parameter access), UP/DOWN (value adjustment), MODE (mode selection).

Basic Settings: Input type, control output, alarm settings, PID parameters. Advanced Settings: Communication parameters, filter time constant, scaling, lock function. Operation: Press SET to enter setting mode, use UP/DOWN to adjust values, press SET to confirm.

Wiring Connections

Terminal block connections for power, input, output, and communication.

  1. Power Supply: Connect AC power to L (line) and N (neutral) terminals.
  2. Sensor Input: Connect thermocouple/RTD to +/- input terminals.
  3. Control Output: Connect relay output to load (heater) observing voltage/current ratings.
  4. Alarm Outputs: Connect alarm relays to external indicators or controls.
  5. Communication: Connect RS-485 to A/B terminals for network communication.

Tip: Use shielded cables for sensor inputs and keep separated from power lines.

Operation Modes

Supports various control modes and functions.

  1. PID Control: Proportional-Integral-Derivative control for precise temperature regulation.
  2. ON-OFF Control: Simple two-position control for basic applications.
