Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Charge battery: Connect charger to AC power, insert battery, charge until indicator turns off.
  2. Insert memory card: Open battery compartment, insert SD card with label facing outward.
  3. Install battery: Insert charged battery into compartment, ensuring proper orientation.
  4. Close compartments: Ensure all seals are clean and compartments are securely closed.

WARNING! Ensure waterproof seals are clean and undamaged before closing compartments. Do not force battery insertion.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Use navigation buttons to set current date and time.
  2. Select language: Choose preferred language from menu options.
  3. Format memory card: In setup menu, format card for first use.
