Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Handle camera with care.

  1. Insert battery: Open battery compartment, insert NP-45 battery with correct polarity.
  2. Insert memory card: Open card slot cover, insert SD/SDHC card.
  3. Charge battery: Connect AC power adapter to camera and wall outlet.
  4. Attach wrist strap for safety.

WARNING! Do not expose camera to water or extreme temperatures. Keep away from magnetic fields.

First-Time Setup

Power on camera; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set date and time: Use menu to configure current date and time.

Tip: Use included cables only. Ensure camera is powered during transfers.
