Basic Operations

Getting started with your FinePix F10 camera.

  1. Insert battery: Open compartment, insert NP-120 battery with correct polarity.
  2. Insert memory card: Open card slot cover, insert xD-Picture Card.
  3. Turn on camera: Press power button, LCD displays startup screen.
  4. Set date/time: Follow on-screen prompts to set current date and time.
  5. Take first photo: Point camera at subject, half-press shutter to focus, then fully press to capture.

Playback and Review

Connecting to Computer

Transfer images to computer for editing and storage.

  1. Install software: Insert included CD-ROM, install FinePix Viewer.
  2. Connect camera: Use USB cable to connect camera to computer.
  3. Turn on camera: Camera automatically enters USB mode.
  4. Transfer images: Use FinePix Viewer or drag and drop from removable drive.
  5. Disconnect: Use "Safely Remove Hardware" before disconnecting cable.

Direct Printing: Connect directly to PictBridge compatible printers via USB cable.

Care & Maintenance
