Installation and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Prepare camera for first use.

  1. Insert battery: Open battery compartment, insert NP-95 battery with correct polarity.
  2. Insert memory card: Open card slot cover, insert xD-Picture Card.
  3. Charge battery: Connect AC power adapter, charge until indicator turns off.
  4. Set date and time: Turn on camera, follow on-screen prompts.

WARNING! Use only Fujifilm NP-95 battery and approved accessories. Do not force memory card.

Basic Operation

Power on camera; ready for shooting.

  1. Turn on: Slide POWER switch to ON position.
  2. Select mode: Use MODE dial to choose shooting mode.
  3. Compose shot: Use LCD monitor or optical viewfinder.
  4. Focus: Half-press shutter button for auto focus.
  5. Take picture: Fully press shutter button.
  6. Review: Press PLAYBACK button to view images.

Tip: Use Natural Light mode for high ISO shooting without flash.

Playback and Transfer

Supports image review, deletion, and computer transfer.

  1. Playback: Press PLAYBACK button to view images.
  2. Navigate: Use left/right buttons to browse images.
  3. Zoom: Press zoom lever to magnify (up to 10x).
  4. Delete: Press trash button to delete unwanted images.
  5. Transfer to PC: Connect USB cable, use as removable drive.

WARNING! Do not disconnect USB cable during transfer. Use camera to format memory card.
